All members share in the group's costs and participate in the group's activities. All major decisions are made by democratic vote. New members are welcomed into the group they must approve their professional level of quality and experience.

Full Membership (Objectives)
Only fully qualified professionals who can prove that they have successfully exercised their profession as designers or consultants for a minimum of 3 years on a freelance (own business) basis.

Designers who are employed in a company cannot become FULL members, with the right to exhibit their work at ISPO and other major fairs, but they can apply to become ASSOCIATE members.

Associate Membership (Objectives)
Employed designers, product managers, individuals who represent a supplier to the industry (manufacturers of fabrics, fibers and other materials, fair organizers, etc.), heads of fashion schools, fashion and industry consultants and other professionals who can contribute to a useful exchange of ideas on future trends can become Associate member.

Associate members don't have to participate actively in all the operations of the association, but they also have no right to exhibit their work.They do have the right to participate in IDEAS' trends meetings and in other exchanges of information. They obtain resulting trend information as part of their membership fees. As suppliers to the industry, they have limited rights to show their materials at ISPO and other fairs, unless they qualify as Sponsors.
